Russell Lands is in the final stages of bringing a new addition to the very successful Willow Glynn neighborhood. Willow Glynn, first established in 2008 as the sister community to Willow Point, has gained popularity due to the rustic “craftsman” style architecture as well as its beautiful lakeside forest setting.
Two full phases of this neighborhood have been completed, and the momentum of recent sales and construction activity has nearly absorbed the available inventory. Just one new house is available for sale at this time. As a result of this recent activity, a new phase is being prepared for final county approval and introduction to the market. Road construction is already complete and final touches are being made to the lot layout in preparation for a release to the open market this spring.
This phase of Willow Glynn, like the first two phases, is situated on a “lake within a lake” setting known to locals as Pitchford Hollow. Fourteen new waterfront homesites and 10 very attractive water-access lots will make up this enclave of newly designed lake homes. Mitch Ginn of Newnan, Georgia has been working with Russell Lands for more than a year to create a special selection of homes for this area. His "Island Bluff" design appears on the right. In order to preserve the architectural integrity of these new lake homes, each home will be built by Classic Homes.
Classic Homes, the homebuilding division of Russell Lands, has been building “turn-key” lake homes in Willow Point, The Ridge and the Russell Cabin sectors for several years now. Prospective owners will have the opportunity to make selections by choosing from the variety of lots, floor plans and décor created especially for this area. This model has proven to be very successful for lake property owners due to streamlined design and construction process.
Willow Glynn is not just about the house or the lake. The neighborhood already boasts miles of sidewalks and forest trails as well as secured, gated entry and a neighborhood park. Many residents enjoy the proximity to the private Willow Point Golf & Country Club, home to one of Alabama’s most beautiful and enjoyed golf courses.
