Ridge Run event a "throw down" between chefs and an open house

Genuine craftsmanship comes in many forms. July 9, from 4:30 to 7pm, Russell Lands On Lake Martin will showcase the beauty of its just-completed Ideal Lake Homes, the design prowess of Dungan Nequette and the culinary genius of chefs Rob McDaniel and Chris Hastings — all in one event.

The "Rendezvous" at Ridge Run will show off the highly successful combination of the vision of architectural firm Dungan Nequette and the craftsmanship of Classic Homes. These two newly completed homes represent a shift to a smarter-sized lake home, but also one which carries with it the much-admired 1920s character and stylings of Russell Crossroads. Both homes, on adjacent homesites in Ridge Run, will be open for the guests to enjoy during the festivities.

These festivities also include a "throw-down-style" culinary faceoff between SpringHouse executive chef Rob McDaniel and Chris Hastings of Hot and Hot Fish Club. The rivalry is certain to be jovial, and the guests will benefit from delectable tastings from both chefs.
