Hwy 63 construction near Russell CrossroadsCommunity & Real Estate
Pardon the progress!

If you haven’t been to the lake, or more specifically, to Russell Crossroads in the last two weeks, you are in for quite a change of scenery.

Regarding the Highway 63 project, the Alabama Department of Transportation has the “pedal to the metal” – but you shouldn’t!!!

The current road work has forced a detour that requires drivers to SLOW DOWN to 25 MPH. The detour is less than a mile long, and the temporary entrance to Russell Crossroads is clearly marked.

We hope that this inconvenience is short lived, and that the majority of the earth moving at the Crossroads entrance will be done before the heavy traffic of the summer season.

Keep you fingers crossed, your eyes and ears open – and, please, be careful.

See you at Russell Crossroads soon!
