The new Amp websiteAmphitheater and Crossroads launch new websites

Russell Lands On Lake Martin has recently launched two new websites for area attractions — Lake Martin Amphitheater and Russell Crossroads.

The Amp
The new Lake Martin Amphitheater site, modernizes the design and function of the site, provides better links to events and artists and better represents the quality of the family experience at the popular, lakeside, outdoor venue. In addition to sporting the new website, the Lake Martin Amphitheater has now been informally branded “The Amp.”  Said Robert Gunn, Director of Events, “The Amphitheater is a fun place, and we wanted to have some fun with it that wouldn’t be such a mouthful to say. And it just sounds really cool. Now we can say ‘we’re cranking up The Amp’ like we will be this weekend for our Labor Day concert.”

The new site provides information on where to purchase tickets, including links to online purchase for certain events, and details on policies at The Amp. Under the new design, the events take center stage. More information is now available for each event, and the event next up at The Amp is featured on the Home page.

The new Russell Crossroads websiteRussell Crossroads
The original Russell Crossroads website was merely a placeholder for a site to come. But over the past few years, as Crossroads has come into its own as the town center at the heart of Russell Lands On Lake Martin, there was much more of a story to be told. The new site now conveys the real look and feel of the town, through beautiful photos, and tells the tale of dining and shopping opportunities, such as SpringHouse and Catherine’s Market. Also included are the perhaps lesser-known attractions to which so many residents and visitors have been drawn – The Stables, our community naturalist, the Welcome and Adventure Centers, the Discovery Center, the Russell Forest Trails, activities on the Town Green, blacksmith and more.

Some interesting and useful resources have also been included. If you’d like to see an animation of the future of Crossroads, visit the About page. You’ll also find the latest Lake Martin Area Guide there. Or, if you’d like to see a map of the Trails System, just download it from the Trails page. A complete list of businesses and phone numbers can be found on the Contact page too. Under News & Events, you’ll also find a link to photo galleries from past Crossroads events, such as the Russell Forest Run and Derby Day.

Janet Price, Director of Marketing for Russell Lands, the developer of the project, commented, “We do a lot at Russell Crossroads, and there’s a lot to do... for the whole family. It’s open to everyone — residents and visitors alike. We want people to come to Crossroads and enjoy everything the town has to offer. The new website will really help with that.”
